Dr. Bernd Ehle ist seit 2003 Rechtsanwalt bei LALIVE. Er ist auf den Bereich internationale Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit spezialisiert und überwiegend als Parteivertreter und Schiedsrichter tätig, sowohl in institutionellen als auch in ad hoc Schiedsverfahren und unter Anwendung verschiedenster (Verfahrens-) Rechtsordnungen. Dr. Ehle verfügt über umfangreiche Erfahrung in Streitigkeiten auf den Gebieten Gesellschaftsrecht, Joint Ventures, Mergers & Acquisitions und Vertriebsverträge sowie betreffend die Bereiche Anlagenbau, Telekommunikation und Energiewirtschaft. Zudem vertritt er Parteien in Verfahren vor staatlichen Gerichten, meist im Zusammenhang mit internationalen Schiedsverfahren.

Bernd Ehle ist in The International Who's Who of Commercial Arbitration aufgeführt. Er ist Co-chair der Genfer Gruppe der Schweizerischen Vereinigung für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit (ASA) und Vorstandsmitglied beim European Branch des Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). Ferner ist Dr. Ehle Mitglied der Deutschen Institution für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit (DIS), der Österreichischen Vereinigung für Schiedsgerichtsbarkeit (ArbAut) und des London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) sowie im Vorstand der Deutsch-Schweizerischen Juristenvereinigung (DSJV).

Bernd Ehle hält regelmässig Vorträge über das „Schweizer Recht im Anlagenbau" vor Juristen aus deutschen und österreichischen Bauunternehmen.

Vor seiner Tätigkeit bei LALIVE war Dr. Ehle als Rechtsanwalt in den Kanzleien Graf von Westphalen in Freiburg i.Br. (2000-2003) und Ehle & Schiller in Köln (1998-1999) tätig, vornehmlich in den Bereichen Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht, internationales Vertragsrecht und Prozessführung. Er studierte Rechtswissenschaften an den Universitäten in Freiburg i.Br. und Heidelberg sowie an der Universität Genf und am Graduate Institute of International Studies (1991-1996). Erstes juristisches Staatsexamen 1996 in Heidelberg und zweites juristisches Staatsexamen 1998 in Freiburg i.Br. Bernd Ehle erwarb einen LL.M. an der Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago (2000) und promovierte an der Universität Heidelberg zu einem Thema des internationalen Privatrechts (2001).
