Sonja Maeder Morvant appointed Vice Chair of the IBA’s Business Crime Committee

LALIVE Counsel Sonja Maeder Morvant has been appointed Vice Chair of the IBA’s Business Crime Committee, of which she has been an officer since 2013. Sonja Maeder Morvant specializes in domestic and international litigation, in particular white collar crime, mutual assistance in criminal matters, asset tracing, the law of armed conflicts, as well as general commercial litigation.

The Business Crime Committee is one of the leading IBA committees and this appointment is testimony of the firm’s leading role in this practice area as well as of the firm’s active involvement in the IBA and its committees for many years.

Other members with key positions in IBA committees include Marc Henzelin (Officer of the Double Jeopardy Subcommittee, former Chair of the Business Crime Committee), Sandrine Giroud (Officer of the Litigation Committee) and Noradèle Radjai (member of the Steering Committee of the IBA Arbitration 40 Subcommittee (IBA Arb 40)).
